ABOUT
Villa Florence is tucked into the ridgeway of the village of Alet-les-Bains, its elevated position gives it wonderful views over one of the prettiest villages in France. This magical, timeless village and its mountain views can be enjoyed from the veranda, kitchen, lounge and garden. There are outside terraces and inside spaces to practice yoga set in the magnificent landscapes.
The Villa is situated on the Route de Saint Salvayre, its split level and terraced garden has a myriad of spaces to enjoy. The large pool brings tranquility and is framed with mature trees and flowers, it is positioned to enjoy the sun all day long. Parasols and loungers surround the large pool. The pool terrace has a summer kitchen, facilities and refreshment area, ideal for outdoor gatherings.
It’s a peaceful place to retreat with local roman baths, the river Aude, spiritual historical sites, and the wonderful landscape of the Midi-Pyrenees, ideal for restorative breaks. Villa Florence is well positioned for walking and cycling routes across Aude and its festivals of Limoux, Rennes-le-Chateau. Views of the snow-capped mountains of the Pyrenees can be enjoyed as you walk the road from the Villa to Saint Salvayre.
RETREAT TO THE VILLA
Retreats to Villa Florence work well for between 5 and 10 guests, it has 5 bedrooms. Pause in the timeless tranquility of Alet-les-Bains, and escape into the magnificent landscape of Aude in the Midi-Pyrenees. The Villa has many private spaces to take time out and many places to come together.

A cooks kitchen, spacious and fully equipped. Gather together to eat, on the balcony with beautiful views, in the kitchen, on the terrace in the end of the garden, on the top terrace, or next to the pool
Garden
The south facing garden overlooks the old town of Alet-les-Bains, the Abbaye, the Cathedral with the mountains as a backdrop. The garden has lots of special places: an elevated rock garden with a couple of chairs and table, a bistro table and chairs just to the side of the pool, a quiet bench by the fruit trees and oleander, a terrace at the bottom of the garden for suppers away from the house and a gravel terrace for boules. The summer kitchen is inside the fenced pool area.

The pool has a deep and shallow end. It's surrounded by mature trees, oleanders and the mimosa

ALET-LES-BAINS
Alet-les-Bains, Aude and in the L’Occitaine region is a small village steeped in history with a medieval Abbaye and Cathedral, thermal mineral springs found by the Romans 2000 years ago, is situated on the river Aude with local activities including canoeing, and is short distance from the wine making region of Limoux, Rennes le Chateau, and the historic town of Carcassonne.
